It is unmistakable that fashion is here to stay. No matter what the color, style or mood. I have always loved the feel of dressing up and or down in style. No matter your socio-economics, fashion makes everyone feel some way or another...strong, happy, cool, chic, it doesn't matter. So, it is fitting that 100 Years of Fashion is celebrated. Cally Blackman’s book featuring a series of fashion with over 400 photographs and illustrations, many published for the first time, tell the stylish story of a fashion revolution. Also, the 100 Years of Fashion documents in pictures the most exciting and diverse period in fashion, from 1900 to today, covering streetwear, uniforms, high society, sportswear and couture.

 As women’s lives changed exponentially during and after World War I and World War II, female dresses were altered to unrecognizability---from the birth of teenagers to mass manufacturing, high society and celebrities, that gave way to looser styles and shorter lengths.

So Cally’ book will appeal to everyone and anyone interested in fashion. Students will enjoy this book as well. "100 Years of Fashion"
